Stranger Things Season 4: The New Characters, Ranked

There has been a worldwide release of two volumes of the fourth season of the American science fiction horror drama series Stranger Things on the streaming service Netflix as part of its fourth season.

On May 27, 2022, the first set of seven episodes was released, followed by the second set of two episodes on July 1, 2022, and the third set of five episodes was released in September 2022.

This show season was produced by Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, Iain Paterson, Curtis Gwinn, and the show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers. It is evident that as the storyline expands and goes into uncharted territory, more and more people are becoming involved in these strange happenings, whether as allies or foes to our heroes that are involved.

We are going to take a look at the Stranger Things season 4 cast in this article.

10. Angela

When El moves from California to New York without the guidance of her father, Hopper, her boyfriend Mike, or her best friend, Max, she finds it hard to settle in and faces many challenges along the way. A few of those come from Angela, the school bully, the bona fide mean girl, and now the show’s most hated character.

She humiliates El publicly and bullies her because she’s different and thinks it’s easy to target her since she’s different. There is no empathy on Angela’s part, making it all the more enjoyable when El smacks a roller skate into her face just as El taunts her, making it all the more satisfying when Angela teases her.

9. Lt. Colonel Jack Sullivan

There is a mysterious military figure known as Lt. Colonel Jack Sullivan, who is under the impression that Eleven is responsible for all the death and chaos in Hawkins and is trying to prove this to be the case. He is convinced that Dr. Brenner intended to make her assassin and is prepared to do whatever it takes to find her.

Eleven’s whereabouts are unknown, so Sullivan orders a siege on the Byers household in California and tortures Agent Wallace for information regarding Eleven’s whereabouts. It will be interesting to see what the Colonel discovers about the events in Hawkins because if he mistreats Eleven in any way, then audiences will not be on his side.

8. Yuri

Joyce and Murray have a lot of trouble dealing with Yuri, the Russian smuggler with a terrible sense of humor who is a real pain in the neck. According to Yuri, who was appointed as Dmitri’s American contact, he promises to smuggle Hopper out of Russia. Still, instead, he tricks the two Americans into securing a better deal for himself.

When Yuri learned that he could make more money if he sold Hopper, Joyce, Murray, and Dmitri to the Russians, he decided to do so. Despite his betrayal, he is thwarted by the Americans when they take him hostage, and Murray uncannily impersonates him to sneak into the prison and save Hopper from certain death.

7. Jason Carver

The main characters in the story are currently in high school, and along comes the classic hero jock in the form of Jason Carver, the book’s hero. When Jason’s cheerleader girlfriend, Chrissy, is killed in a tragic accident, he pursues justice that involves the entire town in his quest for justice.

As much as Jason is understandably upset about the death of his girlfriend because he believes Eddie Munson to be the killer, he launches a full attack on him and the Hellfire Club in retaliation for his actions. There is no doubt that Jason may think he is doing the right thing, but he will only do more damage to the situation.

6. Victor Creel

This season, most of the plot revolves around the Creel family, whose house was purportedly possessed by Vecna, causing Victor Creel to murder his family to protect himself.

It is important to remember that there is much more to this story; Victor is the only survivor of the incident. A visit to Victor’s psychiatric ward by Nancy and Robin seems scary, as it appears as if he does not have any eyes due to his scarring. There is no doubt that Vecna and his murders were inspired by the film A Nightmare on Elm Street, which starred Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger.

5. Chrissy Cunningham

As the head cheerleader, the girlfriend of the basketball captain, and the most popular girl in school, Chrissy Cunningham seems to have everything going for her on the surface.

However, there’s more to her than meets the eye. Vecna’s first victim, poor Chrissy, is revealed to have a far-from-perfect life, which is why she is Vecna’s first victim, and her life isn’t perfect.

She had to deal with verbal abuse from her mother, which led her to purchase drugs from Eddie due to verbal abuse. There was an expectation that viewers would spend much more time with this character, and perhaps even see more interaction between Eddie and her before her brutal death and at the end of the first episode.

4. Argyle

As season four is one of the series’s darkest and most mature seasons so far, Argyle’s comedic relief is a breath of fresh air for audiences and precisely what they need now. In addition to delivering for Surfer Boy Pizza, Argyle is Jonathan’s new stoner buddy in California.

I enjoyed watching Argyle’s laid-back, philosophical demeanor on screen as he showed some of the funniest moments of the season as he demonstrated his chilled-out persona. He certainly has the best hair of all the characters on the show, and his reactions to the chaotic events surrounding him are priceless.

3. Dmitri Antonov

The ruthless Russian certainly does a lot of damage to Hopper this season, so, fortunately, he has an ally in the prison guard, Dmitri, also known as Enzo, who is not afraid to stand up to him.

The sly and resourceful character is portrayed by Tom Wlaschiha, who viewers will recognize from Game of Thrones. After Yuri foils their plan and they both become prisoners, Dmitri becomes a trusted confidant to Hopper after initially helping him out for material gain.

However, after Yuri hinders their program, he becomes a trustworthy confidante to him. Through sharing their darkest and most personal secrets, the pair can form a solid bond that eventually helps them escape.

2. Eddie Munson

Eddie Munson, the leader of the Hellfire Club and the person who steals the show this season, is the fan-favorite and scene-stealer of the whole season. With his D&D skills, musical talent, and charming character, Eddie has become a mentor for our younger characters, much like Steve. There is nothing Eddie cares about when it comes to fame

. He embraces being an outcast and is not ashamed of it. Whether he is comforting Chrissy or diving into Lovers Lake with the gang to save Steve, it is evident that he has a heart of gold. Furthermore, Eddie has also been implicated in the current Hawkins murders. It is hoped that Volume 2 will see him proven innocent of these crimes.

1)Vecna/001/Henry Creel

This season, Stranger Things has had more than its fair share of supernatural villains, from the Demogorgon to the Mind Flayer, but the most frightening of them all is this season’s big bad, Vecna. Despite his appearance as a grotesque monster that brutally murders teens in Hawkins, there’s so much more to him than meets the eye.

Vecna’s backstory and the twists that follow make him such a compelling character. There’s more to Vecna than just that he’s a monster from the Upside Down, he’s also 001 – Eleven’s sibling, and now he’s an orderly working in Brenner’s laboratory as a trim.

Additionally, he is Henry Creel, the man who murdered his family and framed his father for the crime. Vecna is a fascinating newcomer of the season due to his intriguing and complex origins.
