Brian and Charles is an upcoming American biographical drama film directed by Simon Curtis and written by Tom Edge. The film stars Tahar Rahim, Sebastian Stan, Rebecca Ferguson, and Billy Howle.
The film follows the story of Brian Epstein (Rahim) and Charles Manson (Stan). Epstein was the manager of the Beatles who discover them in a small club in Liverpool and brought them to international stardom. Manson was a notorious criminal who led a cult known as the “Manson Family” which committed a series of high-profile murders in 1969, including that of actress Sharon Tate.
Curtis has said that the film will be about “two men at the height of their powers” and that it will explore “the dark side of the 1960s”.
